	09/1/2011	The Southern California racing community lost a close friend on August 28, 2011. Mark Spivey lost his hard fought, painful battle with cancer last Saturday. He is survived by Marci Lloyd and their son Matheu. Mark was born August 5, 1964, in Inglewood, and passed August 28, 2011 in Motebello. Memorial Services will be held on September 3, 2011 at Risher Mortuary, 1316 Whittier Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640. A family reception will be hosted at their home immediately after the service, at 1325 Charleston Way, Montebello, CA 90640. The family asks that in lieu of flowers you make a donation to The American Cancer Society, in Marks name. Mark and Marci were a part of the Legends of Ascot family from the very beginning. Never missing an event, you could count on Mark to be there directing vintage race cars to their display area, working security, or any other job he could help out with. His smile was contagious and we will miss him. Rest In Peace, MARK!
	02/21/2011	In 2008, The Legends of Ascot founder, Don Weaver, annouced that the Events will be held every other year. In keeping with that statement, the next Legends of Ascot Event will be held during October of 2012. The actual date will be determined when the 2012 race schedule for Perris Auto Speedway is announced. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!
